Editorial policy
How the two guides on this site are researched, what we will not write, and what happens when we get something wrong.
Who writes this
The guides are written by Olivia Cook and published by BELGOROD s.r.o.. Every article carries the author's name and the date it was last reviewed.
What we will publish
- Figures we can source. Every number on this site traces to a source listed on the sources page. Where sources disagree, we take the more conservative number and say that we did.
- The date we checked. Games change. A figure without a date is not much of a figure.
- The gaps. Each guide ends with a list of what we could not verify. Those lists are content, not a disclaimer. Where no independent measurement exists, we write that no independent measurement exists.
What we will not publish
- Player, download or registration counts, unless the developer publishes them. Neither developer does.
- Star ratings, scores, tier lists or any "best" ranking. We are paid per registration, which disqualifies us from ranking the things we are paid to send you to.
- Testimonials, reader stories or reviews. There is no mechanism anywhere on this site for a visitor's own words to reappear as social proof.
- Detection rates, anti-cheat effectiveness, or earnings claims of any kind.
- Screenshots, publisher artwork or photographs. Every image on this site is an original vector diagram we drew, labelled as an illustration in its caption.
Money, and where it does not reach
This site is funded by affiliate commission from the myLead network, paid when a reader opens a partner link and registers with the game. Two buttons on the site are paid links and they are labelled as such, above the button and below it.
Nobody pays us to change what a guide says, and there is no arrangement under which they could. In practice the discipline that matters is the sourcing rule above: a figure that cannot be traced to a named source does not go on the page, however much better it would make a game sound. That is why the numbers here are smaller and duller than the ones in wide circulation.
How we handle an error
- Tell us at info@cresthub.online, quoting the sentence.
- We check it against a primary source where one exists.
- If it is wrong, we change the page and move the review date at the top of it, so you can see the guide has been looked at since.
- If we cannot establish it either way, we remove the claim rather than leaving it standing.
Sources we use
In order of preference: the developer's own documentation and development blog; the official game wikis; Wikipedia, for uncontroversial facts such as release dates and platforms; and the official forums, for mechanics the developer has not documented centrally. Community discussion is the weakest of these and we say so at the point of use — the Enlisted player-count figures are flagged this way.
We do not use AI-generated summaries, content farms, or other affiliate sites as sources. A figure that circulates only among affiliate sites is not evidence of anything except that it is easy to copy.
Independence from the publishers
We have no relationship with Gaijin Entertainment or Darkflow Software. We have received no review copy, no briefing, no embargo access and no payment from either. The affiliate commission is paid by a network, not by the publishers, and it is paid on registrations regardless of what we write.
